What happens to a Standalone document when the VCdb changes?

In a “Standalone” document, there is no mapping. You maintain everything at the application level manually.

To see where you might be missing an application, you can use the coverage report. It will tell you by part type where you are missing coverage on a vehicle. Running validation will show if an application has become invalid due to a change in the VCdb.

Generally, most of the changes in the VCdb are adding new vehicles for the current or coming year. Therefore you shouldn’t need to update old data very often.
