What does “Create ACES Applications” do?

Once you’ve created all your “helper maps” (i.e. Make, Model, Engine, Part Description and Comment maps), you can use the Map Applications screen to actually create the ACES applications.

There is a progress bar shown when you open the mapping screen because it takes some time to load all of the applications and get them ready for mapping. Just opening the screen does not actually map any applications. You must use the Edit > Create ACES Applications menu (or press the associated icon on the toolbar) to actually create them.

⚠️Note: Create ACES Applications will automatically remove the Manually Mapped flag if the application can be created automatically. It always tries to map the Manually Mapped applications if it can.
