Is There a Maximum Note Length?

Yes, AceMapper has a maximum note length of 1000 characters per single note (after being split). If a note exceeds this length during import, it will be truncated to fit within the limit and include an ellipsis (…) to indicate lost content. This limit cannot be changed.

An error message will be included in the import log to inform you about the truncation along with the row number where the issue occurred. This allows you to identify and review the original note in your source data.
