How Do I Map a Conditional Comment?

You need to create an ORed comment map. To do this, create one “Maps To” row that limits the Note to 4WD and a second row that says “Exc. 4WD”. Like so:

Here is how you might handle a “Police” comment that is sometimes a submodel and sometimes a note:

Another common example of a conditional comment is one with embedded dates. For example:

“Check for Caliper Clearance on 1999-up.”

Note that this mapping will ignore the Note if before 1999. In other words, no note will be included on those applications.

Also, Models in a comment map can only limit what the Model Map already includes.
