Version 5.5.x Enhancements

We introduced the following enhancements to improve the user experience and expand functionality in the AceMapper 5.5.x releases.

Key Enhancements

• Performance improvements for importing source applications
• Performance improvements for loading comment maps and map application screens
• Add server names persistence for login screen drop-down for used servers
• Add username and password prefill to login screen (when not using Windows Authentication)
• Add support for Excel files for application import
• Add ability to limit search to a particular column on map applications screen
• Add “Details” button to show database migration activity and allow cancellation
• Add “Settings” screen to control update statistics during long database processes
• Add manually mapped indication to status bar on map application screen
• Add import results (add, delete, errors) to history record
• Add file export to application import log viewer (for errors found during process)
• Add (and Drop) indexes for performance improvements
• Add “Check for update” function to download latest version if under maintenance
• Add support for VCdb 2.0 imports with improved performance
• Add Excel VCdb import change report with color coded changes

• Add warnings when licensing or support is about to expire
• Add license check to windows installer
