Positions in Coverage Report

Q: How do you determine the universe of positions for display on the non-coverage report. Do you just show all the valid ones on the part type that are not in the file?

A: No. Doing that would create a lot of possibly irrelevant records. We see what positions are used anywhere on the model for that part type and make sure all of those positions are available for each configuration. There is a chance that an entire position could be missed for a model and we would not report it, but the alternative would be to show sometimes a dozen or more irrelevant positions for each model.
