What’s New in AceViewer 2.0

AceViewer 2.0

  • Added support for ACES 3.0

We now include columns for AssetName, AssetOrder and AssetRef. Also support the new BrandAAIAID tag and attribute.

  • Added option to show separate attribute columns

This is a completely separate view that you can easily switch to that shows each attribute in its own column. This is designed for those needing an easy way to process individual vehicle attributes.

  • Added ability to hide columns with no data

Sometimes it is helpful to hide all the extra columns that have no meaning for the file. For large files, this can take a minute since every row must be evaluated to see if any data exists for each column.

  • Added file drop and “Open with” support

This is a real time-saver when working with Windows Explorer and you’d like to quickly open an ACES xml file. The “drag and drop” function works when dropping on the AceViewer icon or directly on the an open AceViewer grid (if a file is already open, it is closed and the “dropped file” is opened in its place).

  • Code signed the application

The AceViewer.exe file is now “code signed” so you can be confident the program came from us. Right click the executable and select “Properties” and then the “Digital Signatures” tab to see our certification. This should also keep those pesky UAC (User Account Control) messages from showing up in Windows Vista.
