How the mapping screens relate

The “Map Applications” screen is different from the other “Helper” maps. The helper maps are all at a higher level (for unique values) and can be shared across documents.

The Map Applications screen is at the row-level. It shows your source applications at the top and what they are mapped to at the bottom (if anything).

When you “Show Unmapped” on that screen, it shows applications which do not have a NAPA application assigned yet. By pressing the “Auto Map” on that screen, it uses all the Helper maps to attempt to create a valid NAPA application. If it can, it will. If it can’t it will remain unmapped (and have a reason in the Mapping Error column).

There is not a “Mark All Maps for Use” function on the Map Applications screen. Only on the Helper maps. These Helper maps are shared across “documents”, but the “Use” check box must be selected for them to be active in that document.
