Mapping Submodels on Model Mapping Screen

There are two ways to include a Submodel condition on a Model Map.

1. Use the “Submodels” tab under Conditions section. This supports exact matching only and treats the NAPA ‘unknown’ submodel the same as any other submodel.

2. Use the “Conditions” tab under Conditions section. Select the “Submodel Name” Condition Type. Submodel Name has special logic for handling models with an ‘unknown’ submodel. It treats ‘unknown’ as a placeholder and allows the substitution of other submodels in place of the ‘unknown’.
