Differences for Primary Brand Import Scripts

A: Why do some import scripts have access to more tabs (PIES segments) than others?

Q: It depends on whether you create a script for a primary brand or a trading partner brand.

Trading partner brands always link back to a primary brand. The “Base Item Number” would be the primary brand part number and the “Part Number” would be the trading partner brand part number.

The Interchange, Attribute and Kit tabs are only on the primary brand. They are not trading partner brand specific.

If this is for a primary brand, go to Maintain > Primary/Trading Partner Brands. Select the brand and check Primary Brand. Be sure to select the AutoCare Brand for the primary brand.
