What is the significance of a Price Sheet Name
The Price Sheet Name is important for net changes. In the Document setup you choose a price sheet name. If you change prices with a new Price Sheet Number and a different effective date but keep the Price Sheet Name the same, the system knows that you are working with a new version of a set of prices.
If you changed the price sheet name between runs of the document, you would need to change the document. If you change the document, you can’t extract net changes.
See the separate topic on Price Sheet Strategies for more information.
⚠️Note: The Price Sheet Number is case-sensitive! We recommend that you make Price Sheet Numbers all UPPER CASE to avoid prices being dropped for apparently no reason.
