Part Description Mapping

Each part description map can contain multiple Line Code/MPCC pairs dependent on Brand. This is useful when it is necessary to support both NAPA US and NAPA Canada. On the application, when you choose a brand, the NAPA applications will appear with the part number, line code and MPCC for the selected brand.

The NAPA MPCC includes position. If your source applications include position, select a source position at the bottom of the mapping screen for each map. For example, a caliper MPCC would have a position of Front Left. The position dropdown would have Front Left as a source position.

It is also possible for the MPCC to have “Front Left” and the source to have just the position “Front” with Left appearing in the comment. Map “Front” using the Position dropdown in Part Description Mapping. In comment mapping map “Left” to all of the appropriate Part Description Maps. For example, Left might be mapped to “Front Left” and “Rear Left”.
