Overview

AceOptimizer is a multi-purpose tool for manipulating ACES xml files. It’s primary use is to remove over-mapping (vehicle attributes that are not required to select the correct part). Secondarily, it will validate the file and optionally convert from ACES 3.2 to 4.0.

Installation

The setup program is a Windows Installer package stored in an executable file and downloaded from our website. The installer is digitally signed and should not be used if “Unknown” or has a signer other than “Winsby Group LLC”. The name of the file is:

AceOptimizer_(version)_[x32|x64].exe

If you will be processing large ACES files (over 500MB), you should consider installing the 64bit version. In either case, you must have the Microsoft Access Database Engine installed which matches the bit-level selected. (See this article).
